Trace Technologies (Australia) Ptd Ltd has formed an alliance with the trusted A-Tag Authenticated Pty Ltd, Australia’s well known company for the authentication of sport’s and entertainment products.
With the success of the A-Tag application to memorabilia items, it was a natural progression to develop a system for protecting the community’s assets such as mobile phones, iPads, iPods, cameras, GPS syetems, laptops and computer, just to name a few.
Directors from both companies formed this alliance and developed the A-Tag Security Tag system for protecting ‘general assets’. The system involves the applying of a small silver ‘tag’ which is 3.5 centimetres x 2.5 centimetres in diameter on the item to be protected. Each ’tag’ has a unique number.
The owner of the item registers themselves through our website detailing the item being protected. In the event the item is located by a finder or the police, we will arrange to have the item returned free of charge to the owner.
Modern mobile phones have location services attached to them however if the phone is off or the battery is flat then the location services are ineffective.
This is the advantage of having an A-Tag Security Tag attached to the item.
Trace Technologies is also offering PC Protect and Detect software for sale. This software is remarkable in that it is installed onto a computer and is invisible to the user. If a computer is stolen, this software can detect its location, take photographs of the thief using the computer’s webcam, retrieve valuable files and shut the computer down if necessary.
